My daughter is taking methotrexate (25 mg. / weekly) for Crohn’s Disease. I have found references to the side effect “easy bruising”, but not specific information about any possible limitations to exercise. Any information, particularly regarding activities (long-distance running, contacts sports…) in high schoool P.E. classes? Thank you.

I am soon going to start methotrxate (injections) for psoriatic arthritis but everything I read on the internet says how awful this drug is. Is there anyone out there who takes it and has no horrible side effects?
