Homeopathic remedies for arthritis

Colchium Autumnale

Although the classical Hannemanian approach to the treatment of disease requires that only one remedy be chosen to treat the patient, and that  remedy be the most similar to the totality of the patient's physical and mental symptoms. Many times a less holistic approach using a remedy which covers only the manifesting symptoms of the disease, and that person's reaction to the inconvenience and pain of the disease, often produces very positive results.

The title of this page, homeopathic remedies for arthritis may be misleading, for homeopaths are not really interested in the name of the disease, but much more interested in the dis-ease the patient experiences, and the possible causation of the dis-ease, and how they react and cope with their environment. Finding a remedy which will fit the patient's entire dis-ease  may be a long process requiring many hours of study , as well as a good measure of intuition on the part of the homeopath, and even then the remedy may not be a match for what has been perceived to be the real cause of the disease.

The following list of homeopathic remedies for arthritis covers just two aspects of the disease, the most prevalent set of physical symptoms , and the patient's manner of dealing with these symptoms.
